Saundra Clow, CTC, CSAT, SAPT, CPDT-KA, CCUI, CTDI
OWNER, LEAD TRAINER & BEHAVIOUR CONSULTANT
I’ve been working professionally with dogs since 2008 and have a special interest in helping dogs who struggle—whether it’s with being left alone, reactivity, fear, or other complex behaviours.
I specialize in separation anxiety and hold multiple certifications in this field, including being a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT) through Malena DeMartini’s program, and a graduate of Julie Naismith’s Separation Anxiety Pro course. In addition to my professional training, I’ve lived through separation anxiety firsthand with my youngest dog, Tripp—so I understand the emotional toll it can take, and the importance of having expert support that actually works.
Alongside my work with separation anxiety, I also offer private behaviour training for guardians navigating challenges like reactivity, aggression, or simply needing support with foundational skills. My approach is practical, personalized, and rooted in positive reinforcement.
I work virtually with clients worldwide and offer in-person training locally.
In the dog sports world, I’m a CARO Rally Obedience Judge and also teach local Rally Obedience classes. I love helping teams build connection through structured, thoughtful training. My 3-year-old Australian Shepherd, Tripp, actively competes in Rally Obedience, Ratting & Agility. My other dog, Penny, a sweet and spunky almost 17-year-old senior mix, keeps the household balanced and grounded.
Whether I’m helping dogs feel more comfortable home alone, supporting reactive dogs, or cheering on a rally run, I’m here to meet dogs and their people with compassion, clarity, and a plan.
