Puppy School
Suitable for puppies aged 8 – 16 weeks
In our Puppy School program, we focus on how to handle common puppy challenges including puppy biting, house training, crate training, home alone time, as well as get started on basic manners such as leash walking, name recognition and greetings with people. We also focus on how to properly socialize your new dog and coach you on recognizing good dog play skills. Get off to a great start with your new family addition in this fun and positive puppy class!
The primary and most important time for puppy socialization is the first three months of life. This means attending well-run puppy classes is advisable before your puppy is fully immunized. Click on the link below to read the Positioning Statement on puppy socialization by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviour.
Puppy Socialization Position StatementWe require 48 hours notice to withdraw enrollment in a class. Class registrations are non-refundable. When appropriate, we can offer a credit transfer to one of our other services that must be used within 60 days of purchase.
