Novice Tricks

4-week program

For dogs of all ages

Learn different training techniques including clicker training, luring & shaping to teach your dog some fun new tricks. We will cover a variety of tricks that will help you improve your training skills and challenge your dog in a fun way! Saundra is a Certified Dog Tricks Instructor (CDTI) and can help you achieve your dog’s Novice Trick Dog Title (NTD) through Do More with Your Dog.

Maximum of 3 dogs per class means lots of 1:1 time with your instructor.


Alpine Dogs takes our responsibility of operating in a safe manner during COVID 19 very seriously. All attendees will need to follow and adhere to our policies:

  • Maximum of 2 members per household allowed to attend class
  • Face masks are mandatory for all participants
  • You will be set up in a station that will be a minimum of 2 meters from other students
  • All contact areas and equipment will be sanitized prior to and between classes
  • If you may have been exposed or are not feeling well, please stay home

You will need to bring the following items to class:
  • Mask
  • Your dog wearing a harness and/or a nylon collar (no chain collars please) as well as a regular nylon leash (no retractable leashes please).
  • High value food rewards. Great options include chicken, roast beef, cheese (a mixture is best).
  • Please don’t feed your dog dinner prior to class but feel free to bring their dinner to class in addition to high value food rewards.
  • Treat pouch or fanny pack for hands-free training
  • Chew sticks (bully sticks) or frozen kong to keep your dog occupied for portions of class where we are not working with them
  • Bed or mat for your dog
  • Water bowl & water
Cancellation policy:

We require 48 hours notice to withdraw enrollment in a class. Class registrations are non-refundable. When appropriate, we can offer a credit transfer to one of our other services that must be used within 60 days of purchase.
