Group Dog Training Classes

Our group dog training classes in Whistler are a great way to teach your dog the basics in a fun and social setting. We use only positive, effective methods setting the dogs and puppies up for a lifetime of good behavior.

Puppy School

October 6, 13, 20, 27 – Registration CLOSED

November 3, 10, 17, 24 – Registration OPEN

4 week program – $165 + tax
6pm – 6:45pm | @ Myrtle Phillip School in the Millar Room
For puppies aged 8 weeks – 16 weeks

In this program we will focus on socialization with people and other dogs while learning proper play behaviour. We will also cover bite inhibition, house training, as well as get started on basic manners such as leash walking, name recognition and greetings with people. Get off to a great start with your new family addition in this fun and positive puppy class!

Our fall classes are held indoors at Myrtle Philip School in the Millar Room. It is mandatory for all class attendees to wear a mask.

Requirements – For puppies aged 8 weeks – 16 weeks. All puppies must have completed their first round of vaccinations prior to their first day of class.

Please note we do require 48 hours notice to withdraw enrollment in a class. Class registrations are non-refundable. When appropriate, we can offer a credit transfer to one of our other services that must be used within 60 days of purchase.

Basic Manners

For dogs of all ages

Alpine Dogs Basic Manners program is designed to teach you and your dog basic obedience skills with a focus on applying these skills to everyday life situations. Have a dog that loves other dogs and people but can’t focus or listen in distracting situations? This is the program for you! We will work together on behaviors such as leash walking, recall, impulse control and focus as well as teach your dog a few new party tricks!

Our fall classes are held indoors at Myrtle Philip School in the Millar Room. It is mandatory for all class attendees to wear a mask.

Requirements – this class is suitable for dogs of all ages.
