Adventure Hikes

Group adventure hikes catering to Whistler’s energetic K9s. Designed to give your dog the opportunity to sniff, explore, and socialize; our off-leash hikes provide exploration, positive reinforcement, and mental stimulation leaving your dog happy, tired and fulfilled.

Please note: We are accepting new dog walking clients on a limited basis for the winter 2020/21 season and require all new clients to commit to a minimum of one walk per week on a set schedule.

How it works

What to expect

Convenience you can count on

We come to your home, office or hotel and pick up your dog so you’re free to go about your day. Pick up and drop off service is complementary.

Safety first

All new dogs are fitted with a Tractive GPS collar and we ask that all dogs are wearing a harness for transport to and from the trail. Our staff are all trained in K9 first-aid and carry a fully equipped first aid kit for all hikes.

Socialization and Stimulation

Once we hit the trail, the dogs get a 60-90 minute off-leash hike where they are able to run, play, make new doggie friends and explore Whistler’s trails with us. Your dogs will quickly learn that we like to reward good behaviors including recall on the trail, impulse control in distracting situations and name recognition.

Happy dog, happy human

To keep things easy for you, we drop them back home after a towel dry where they are happy, content and ready for a nap!

Testimonials

People who trust us

“Our labradoodle Bella had a blast. Service is very professional, they were on time and texted us throughout the day. I really like the video on instagram, which gave us an idea of what she did during the day. Fantastic service for our 4 legged baby. Love it and will be booking for our next visit. Thank you so much.”
Sophie Lussier, Bella's dog mum
"Our dogs go on weekly walks with the Alpine Dogs team, and they love it. Saundra is very thoughtful about how she schedules the dogs, ours we have learned are better off if they go separately, which has been great. They always come back to us happy and exhausted. They're accommodating and communicative so we never have to worry about changing our schedule a little bit, or wonder about the dogs while they're out. Highly recommend!"
Carlee Price, Jaxson & Elvis' dog mum
"Augie goes out on the off leash walks and is so excited to go, and exhausted when he gets home. They are so professional and care so much for the dogs. I can tell Saundra and her team considers what dog goes with what group depending on energy levels to maximize fun for all dogs. Alpine Dogs is simply Thee Best!!!
